Arin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, serving 4 years of active duty and 8 years with the reserves. He was an avid skeet shooter and enjoyed going on base with friends to shoot. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed traveling to West Coast; especially, Colorado and Washington State. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with family. Arin will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth, nee Maxwell, Bovay; his granddaughter, Angela; and his 11 siblings.
Surviving are his loving wife, of 51 years, Janet F. “Jan” Bovay, nee Litzler, of Belleville, Illinois; his children, Christopher (Lisa Love) Bovay, of Columbia, Illinois, James Bovay, of Okawville, Illinois, Barbara Borgmann, of Centralia, Illinois; and Thomas Bovay, of St. Charles, Missouri; his grandchildren, Brendan, Rhiannon, Skylar, Dylan, Denise, and Daniel, and Brandon; a great grandchildren, Jacob, Breanna, and Journey; a great great grandchild, Ainsleyand many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Our Lady, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, Illinois. Inurnment will be held privately in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
