
Mrs. Sisson was a retired Administrative Assistant for Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois, She was a Charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she served as elder, deacon and teacher, charter member of St. Clair County Association of Legal Secretaries, Charter member of Midtown Lioness Club of Belleville and Leo Club advisor. Companion associate with her late husband in the VFW Auxiliary, Belleville, Post 1739.

Mrs. Sisson was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Guy Edward Sisson; parents, James J. and Rachael R., nee Jackson, Shaw; a sister, Virginia Cafer and her brothers, James J., Shaw, Jr., Dwain A. Shaw and Alvin O. Shaw.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Bonnie) Sisson of Sierra Vista, AZ and Michele “Mickie” (Charles) Moore of Belleville, IL; grandchildren, Thor (Kimberly) Sisson, RaLynne (Timothy) Rhymer, Dallas Sisson, Gavin (Andrew) Sisson, Macee (T.J.) Tillman, Ceirra (Brandon) Child and Ryan (Elizabeth) Moore; great grandchildren, Katelyn and Kevin Logan, Jillian Sisson, Aiden, Maverick and Brooklyn Tillman, Dartanyon and Orion Child , and Gus Rhymer; siblings, Hildred Jean (Ken) Hoer of Cedar Falls,Iowa, Larry Shaw of Des Moines, Iowa and a sister in law, Norma Jean Shaw of Vandalia, Missouri.
Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Belleville, Illinois.
Memorial Services will be held at the church on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Meg Overstreet officiating.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
