

Bill was a career Air Force enlister. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Tech Sergeant. Bill had a special place in his heart for his mother. He and his wife June loved to visit with her, and enjoyed taking trips to the casino together. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean June Lamming, his parents: Clarence and Helen (nee Cress) Lamming, his siblings: Clarence “Jack” Lamming Jr., Wayne Lamming, Kenneth Lamming, Virginia Gowan, Martha Greenhill, and Constance “Connie” Lemler.
Bill is survived by his son John C. Lamming, of Yuba City, CA, his sister, Barbara McKinley, of Belleville, IL, special friend, Matthew Brady, of Gold River, CA, special great nephew, Cameron Morris, of Sonoma CA, and a dear number of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation: Friends and family may visit, Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, located at 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville IL 62223.
Funeral Service: Funeral Services will be held immediately following visitation at 11:00 am. Interment to take place at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
