

Brian loved diesel trucks & was a truck driver for over 18 years before becoming disabled in 2001. He & his wife enjoyed going camping, Wrangler’s campground being a favorite spot, as well as float trips on the Buffalo River (TN) and Current River (MO). He loved animals, especially his horses Dakota, Mingo, Cayenne, Aries, Fanny, Ryker, Mauntyn, Rowan, Kenai, & Riverton, along with his mules Jackson & Whiskey. He also enjoyed going to auctions, whether it was for livestock or miscellaneous items. He was kind & considerate (to a point) & passionate (on his terms). He was loved by many & will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Theresa (nee Knapp) Lindsey, his stepchildren Amanda (Ryan) Skelton, Heather (Stephen) Dikkeboom, Andrew (Natasha) Plog, Joseph (Jenny) Plog; grandchildren Keiran, Liam & Aryanna Plog; Madison, Joselynn, Dean & Gemma Plog; Nickolas, Brecken & Kaedyn Skelton; Cameron, Addison & Sylvia Dikkeboom; brothers Carl “Rick” Lindsey Jr., Charles “Chuck” Lindsey & Robert “Bob” Lindsey; sisters Veronica “Vicky” (Rick) Parish & Lisa Hansard, along with his beloved fur-son, a min-pin named Tinkerbell, plus numerous nieces, nephews & special friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Steven Lindsey.
A viewing will take place at Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL, on Tuesday, September 29th, 2020 from 12 PM – 1 PM; followed by a funeral at 1 PM, with burial to take place at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
