

Mr. Curtis served in the United States Marines as a PFC Crew Chief on aircraft carriers during the Korean War.
Charles was a very hard worker. He started Carpet Market of Belleville, Inc. and operated it for 53 years. Charles was known for his hard work ethic. He was always working on a project and was a developer of commercial property.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Chuck was always a dependable man. He was always available and would help family and friends during difficult times, never expect anything in return. He was truly a good guy to many.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Fudge and Margaret Chilton; and sister, June Nagel Kosarek.
Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Curtis, nee Yeske; children, Brad Curtis, Sr., Thomas Curtis, and Lisa Curtis; grandchildren, Lauren Curtis, Brad Curtis, Jr., and Jennifer Curtis; great grandchildren, Alexandra Curtis and Ashton Brede; and brothers, George Barron and William Bonewitz.
The Curtis family would like to extend their appreciation to the entire staff at TIP Hospice for the support and care provided.
