Charles Chris Robertson Sr.

Chris was a retired Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force. He served 33 years as an accomplished navigator. He flew numerous aircraft including B-52s, F4s and C130s. He courageously served during Vietnam, the Cold War, the Gulf Wars, the Global War on Terror and flew into the heart of storms as a hurricane hunter. Chris was dedicated and committed to the Air Force and his country.

He married Marcia Holcomb on March 3, 2023 in Belleville, Illinois. Chris was an avid New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving to cherish his memory includes his wife, Marcia Robertson; daughter, Katherine Robertson; son, Charles “Chuck” (Crystal) Robertson; sisters, Judy (Bob) Wallace and Leslie Todd and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Ray and Marguerite (Huber) Robertson and brother, Edward Ray Robertson Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

A memorial visitaiton will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
