I remember your family well from much earlier in our lives, and growing up in the same neighborhood. You were a great friend. I am sorry for the recent loss of your mother. I have fond memories of her and of your family. Thinking of you at this sad time.

Mrs. Ayllon was a wonderful educator. She improved the lives of so many children by giving them the gift of reading and the love of books. It is with thanks that I know her legacy will be enduring.

Mrs. Ayllon opened up the world of literature and learning to me. She held us to high standards (The Odyssey and The Illiad in 6th grade!) and supported us every step of the way on our journey. It was a privilege to be her student. Deepest condolences to her family.
