David C. Isselhardt, 66, of Belleville, Illinois, born May 9, 1951, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at home.
David worked for over 40 years at Roesch Inc in Belleville, Illinois and retired from there in 2011 . He was an outdoorsman, who loved fishing and camping. He truly enjoyed spending time at his clubhouse outside of Red, Bud. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan; enjoyed football and most other sports. He loved to barbeque pork steaks and liked ribs. He was a dog lover and will be missed by his faithful companion, K.C, his black lab. David marched to the beat of his own drum and was a free spirit. He will be missed by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth R. and Jane “Jennie” M., nee Furmanek, Isselhardt; and by both sets of grandparents; as well as, many aunts and uncles.
Surviving are his sister, Jean Daenzer, of Belleville, Illinois; his uncle, Robert (Anneline) Isselhardt, of Waterloo, Illinois; his aunt, Rose Seiling, of O’Fallon, Illinois; his two nephews; three great nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
For my brother: All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed, you are now at peace forever!
