Denise Ann Campbell

Denise was born September 7, 1962 in Belleville, IL to Norman Pierce and Bonnie Lou (Griebel) Barr.

She is survived by her mother, Bonnie of Belleville, IL; children, Dana L. Campbell and Karesha M. Campbell; many beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her siblings, Maria (Tim) Clement, Deanna (Chuck) Grass, and Sharon (Gary) Bunker; sister-in-law, Dawn Pierce; and her special friend, Emilio Alejandro Rojas of Florida; and her loving dog, Ricko.

Denise was preceded in death by her father, Norman Pierce; her beloved father figure, Bob Vollmer; sons, Emilio “EJ” Rojas and Dylan Rojas; grandson, Naszier R. Alexander; and siblings, Randy Pierce and Kevin Pierce.

Denise was creative and hardworking. She loved painting, ceramics, and expressing herself through art. Her lifelong passion for horses—especially riding them—brought her joy and freedom, and she cherished every moment with them. She also loved spending time gardening.

Years ago, she owned her own upholstery business, Upholstery Wizard in Belleville, using her skill and dedication to bring new life and comfort to many homes.

She will be remembered for her creativity, her gentle spirit, and the love she shared with those around her.

Memorial donations may be made to the family. Cremation rites have been accorded; the family has entrusted Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL with arrangements.
