Donald S. Cosat Sr.

Mr. Cosat married his wife, Cheryl, on June 11, 1963 in Louisville, KY. He spent his early work life in the St. Louis shipyards as a welder and his later years as a truck driver for Hogan Trucking. Mr. Cosat was of the Baptist faith. He served proudly in the US Army.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl (nee McNary) Cosat; children, Ellen (Donald) Stotlemyer, Christina (Ray) Leslie, Donald (Mary) Jr., Martin, Patrick, Mary (Chuck) Maddox, and Carrie (Joshua) Burris; grandchildren, Donald, Michael, and Steven Stotlemyer, Angel, April, Ricky, and Anna Melton, Kyle and Shianne Cosat, Nicholas and Travis Cosat, Danielle Cosat, Dakota, Samantha, and Vinnie Maddox; great grandchildren, Cheryl and Claire Leslie, Peyton Stotlemyer, David, Jimmy, Ray, and Aden Melton, Damon and Dewayne Melton, Donna B., and Brooklyn Melton; and siblings, Sally Nace of Louisville, KY, Alice Hayner of New Orleans, LA, Martin Cosat of Wyoming, and Emagene Raeh.

Services: Visitation on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Valhalla-Gaerdner-Holten Funeral Home. Funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. Entombment at Valhalla Gardens of Memory.
