Mrs. Tyson was a grocery store cashier and customer service representative for Schnuck's Supermarket in Cahokia, IL for 38 years. Donna spent her life cultivating beauty, both in her vibrant gardens and in the lives of her family.
Whether she was lost in the pages of a good book, or gathered at the table surrounded by her children and grandchildren, she gave her whole heart to every moment. Her warmth, patience and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ricky L. Tyson, her parents, Roman and Joy, (nee Ciolli), Engel; a grandson, Johnathan Tyson; father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Betty, (nee Jarrell), Tyson; and numerous extended families.
She is survived by her three loving children, a son, Jason (Jodina) Tyson of Columbia, SC; two daughters, Melissa Caldwell of Fairview Heights, IL and Jessica (Randall) Smith of Kailua, HI. Seven Grandchildren, Christopher (Alexandria) Caldwell, Travis Tyson, Kale Tyson, Allison Tyson, Brooklynn Tyson, Sakic (Azlynn Kainz) Smith and Gavin (Marie Marynowski) Smith. Also 3 great-grandchildren, Zayda Strunk, Milani and Zayn Caldwell and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Donna will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.
A memorial visitation will be held two hour prior to the service, from 10:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
