Ethel was a devoted wife of nearly 60 years and a stay at home mom for her two children. Once her boys were grown, she worked as a clerk at Kresge’s and later retired from Jones’ Bookstore. Ethel was very family oriented and loved her home; she enjoyed hosting Sunday dinners and was well known for her wonderful pies and her loving, generous nature. She was a benevolent woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Graf and Idell Josephine (nee Meyer) Graf; husband, Herman Roedersheimer Sr.; brothers, Melvin, Kenny and Johnny Graf; sister, Virginia (nee Graf) Swagel; son, Mark Steven Roedersheimer and grandson, Joshua John Roedersheimer.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Herman “Sonny” (Donna) Roedersheimer; grandson, Drew Alan (Kellie Paquette) Roedersheimer; granddaughter Stacy Roedersheimer; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank VITAS Hospice for the excellent care they provided to Ethel.

Visitation: Guests may visit from 10 am to 12 pm Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL. Interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
