Sonny was a retired switchman with 40 years of service with Terminal Railroad. He was an avid fisherman and golfer, Sonny’s greatest passion in life was his family.
Sonny is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy, nee McGuire, Kovalski.
Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Phyllis, nee Burns, Kovalski; children, Ron (Jamie) Cannon, Oscar (Jennifer) Kovalski, Edward (Susan) Kovalski, Mark (Rebecca) Kovalski, Patricia (Joanna) Cannon, Ruby Roberts and Erica (David) Goodman; twenty two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, John Kovalski, Tim Scarbourogh and Pat Toth, also, survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives, family and friends.
