Hirchel "Butch" Edward Hill Jr.

Butch graduated from Belleville West High School in 1975. Butch was known as the “fix-it-man” because he was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, model trains, Nascar, the Kansas City Chiefs and above all else, he was a proud PaPa who treasured spending time with his family. His devotion, humor and wit will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hirchel E. Hill, Sr. and Mary K. (nee Wachter) Hill.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 45 years, Linda (nee Truccano) Hill; children, Hirchel (Jill) Hill III and Carolyn (Paul) Rarick; grandchildren, Rachel Karstens, Holden Hill, Luca Hill and Jackson Foley; brother, Richard Hill, Sr. plus numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for the excellent care Butch received. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made directly to St. Elizabeth’s.

Per Butch’s wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
