

Mrs. Brammer attended Dewey grade school, Belleville, Illinois. She graduated from Belleville Township High School in 1937 and became a telephone operator after graduation through WW II. Mrs. Brammer was a member of Epworth Methodist Church, Belleville, Illinois she taught Sunday school and was active in the WSCS/UMW. She was an officer for the Dewey School Mothers Club. Member and past president of the PTA. She was a den mother for the Cub Scout Pack 17. Mrs. Brammer was one of the founding members of the Metro East Antique Bottle Club and was a member of the Alice Dunbar Circle of the American Baptist Women.
Mrs. Brammer was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne R. Brammer; son, Robert Brammer; parents, Charles and Hannah, nee Peel, Smith; son in law, Robert “Bob” McBride and a brother and sister in law, Egbert and Irma Smith.
Surviving are her children, Roger (Joan) Brammer, Raymond (Mitzi) Brammer, Randall (Betty) Brammer and Betty McBride; grandchildren, Stefanie (Michael) Montero, Brian (Kathryn) Brammer, Adrienne Brammer, Timothy Brammer, Christopher Brammer and Adam Brammer; great grandchildren, Nicholas Montero, Christian Montero and Samantha Brammer, also, survived by other relatives, family and friends.

Services: Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the funeral home with the Reverend Arthur Francis officiating. Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois
