James E. Markle

Mr. Markle was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Spearman, Texas. He loved farming and had horses, which he gave riding lessons to the local youth.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Frances, nee Schroder, Markle ; a son James Markle; a daughter, Sharon Markle; his parents, Elmer and Edella, nee Smith, Markle; two brothers, E.J. and Ernest Markle; and a sister, Donna Morris.

Surviving are his sons, Alvin D. (Meriam “Lynn”) Markle, of Richmond, Texas, and Jerry Markle, of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Carol Beane , and Judy Young, both of Dallas, Texas; his granddaughter, Bianca Markle; his grandsons, James Markle, Justin Markle, Jared Markle, and John Raymond Markle; a great granddaughter, Charlotte Markle; and a sister, Veta Smith, of Dallas, Texas.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating. Interment will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 in McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, Kansas.
