She was born February 8, 1943 in East St. Louis, IL to Joseph F. and Margaret (Hyde) Daniels. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Joan is survived by her twin brother, Gene Daniels of New Athens, IL and several nieces and nephews.
Joan worked as a kitchen aide at the local truck stop restaurant in Effingham for many years. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A gathering of friends at her graveside will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Valhalla Gardner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
