Joan Carol Weiser

Joan was born August 11, 1937 in St. Louis, MO to Alois and Ruby R. (Weiners) Odehnal.

They preceded her in death as well as her two brothers, Allen and Ronny and one sister, Pat. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, George Schneider.

Joan is survived by her loving husband, Will B. Weiser of Fairview Heights, IL; six children, Mickey (Mary) Ragsdale, Pattie (Sean) O’Keefe, George Schneider III, Joan (Kris) North, Joe (Lisa) Schneider, Ronny (Michelle) Schneider; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; and her siblings, Jerry, David, Jimmy and Darlene.

Joan worked for Schnucks Bakery for many years. She was a wonderful cook; she always enjoyed making delicious meals and cookies for all to share.

She had a welcoming and kind spirit, always making friends anywhere she went. She adored all children; grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She will truly be missed and never forgotten.

A visitation for Joan will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 4:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded following services with placement at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Perry Stone Ministries in Cleveland, TN, a foundation close to Joan’s heart.
