

John, from a young age, acquired a passion for music and playing his guitars and writing his own songs.
John lived life to the fullest, he had a big heart and never met a stranger. John remained a dear brother and uncle.
John was preceded in death by his parents, James Richard and Mary Jean, nee Hisey, Day and a brother, Thomas Jeffrey Day.
Surviving are his brothers, Robert (Gina) Day of Waterloo, Illinois, William (Jean) Day of Belleville, Illinois; sisters, Carol (Dan) O’Donnell of Belleville, Illinois and Karen (Dwayne Tucker) Day of San Antonio, Texas; nephews and great nephews, and other relatives, family and friends.
