She was born December 25, 1932 in East St. Louis a daughter of Anthony Stanley and Violet (nee Irwin) Pawloski. She married Charles Burnette.
Surviving are her husband, Charles F. Burnette of Swansea; her children, David (Louise) Burnette of Danbury, CT, Richard Burnette of Washington, IL, and Vaudra (Mike) Rohwedder of Belleville; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; three step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; her brother, Raymond (Norma) Pawloski of Hazelwood, MO; sister, Joan Musk of Benton, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one step grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at Signal Hill United Methodist Church in Belleville. Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
