Joyce Lee Paclik

Joyce was born February 5, 1944 in Covington, KY to William and Eva Marie (Figgins) Jones. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Klein; and two siblings, Patsy Boyer and Bobby Jones.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Richard Paclik, whom she married on August 19, 1967 in Dell Rapids, SD. He survives and resides in Belleville, IL. Also surviving are their children, Charles (Yuki) Paclik of Fresno, CA, Theresa (Rod) Horn of Belleville, IL and John (Robin) Paclik of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Andy Paclik of Fresno, CA, Michelle Klein of Belleville, IL, David Paclik of Texas, Ian Paclik of California; and siblings, Kay (Reggie) Mills of California, Jeannie Lako of California and Peggy Paye of Arizona; her sweet dogs, Rebel, P.V. and Missy; and many beloved nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.

Years ago, Joyce worked with the Army Air Force Exchange Service as a bookkeeper. She also was a waitress at several restaurants, where she loved serving her customers with a smile on her face. She and Rich enjoyed many trips out on the water, catching fish and enjoyed simply being together. She was a talented seamstress, making her children’s clothing, decorating their birthday cakes for each birthday celebration and cooking for all family events. Above all else, Joyce was devoted to her family and loved them all dearly. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service for Joyce will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

A visitation will be held an hour prior, from 2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M.

The family has entrusted Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home with cremation rites.
