She was born October 13, 1941 in Belleville, a daughter of Clarence and Clara (nee Roth) Talbot.
Judy was raised on a farm near Freeburg and attended Freeburg schools graduating from Freeburg High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses in Belleville and Freeburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty Talbot Griebel, one niece, Renee Griebel, nephew, Ralph Rabe, and great niece, Janel Rabe.
Surviving are her niece, Renda Griebel Rabe; nephew, Kevan C. (and Carol) Griebel; great nieces, Erin Griebel, Jenny (and Matthew) Kaiser, and JoAnn (and Joshua) Smith; great nephew, James (and Leslie) Rabe; and great-great nieces and nephews, Kailynne Rabe, Natalie and Nathan Kaiser, and Jakob and Jase Smith.
She was known as “Aunt Judy” to many, she will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville.
