Judy was born and raised in E. St. Louis and graduated as a Flyer. She was a proud and dedicated member of the American Legion Auxiliary Posts in Cahokia and Stookey Township. She worked as a bartender manager for the Legion after her children were raised. In her earlier years as a homemaker, she was a Brownie Troop leader, belonged to the St. Mary’s Mother’s Club and participated in the Bel Air bowling league. She loved to attend BINGO with her mom and even worked at the old Sportsman’s Park during the St. Louis Browns World Series. Judy was mother to not only her children but many other kids in the Villa Hills area who still refer to her as their 2nd mom to this day. From shuttling to sporting practices and games to serving them up a beer when they hit 21, they made her so unbelievably proud and warmed her heart. Judy enjoyed some quiet time by reading but also had a great time with friends as Captain of her traveling horseshoe team. She was dedicated to her family & friends. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville. Judy was full of energy, sass, and spunk and cursed like a sailor but her heart was pure gold and she would help anyone who needed it. “God love her” she will be missed but never forgotten.
