She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Dorothy (Broadway) Dunning, husbands, Charles Nordman, Frank Saucier, Vernon John Richter and Thomas Hight.
June is survived by brothers, Kenneth (Isolde) Dunning of Belleville, Illinois, Gerald Dunning of Belleville, Illinois, and Bruce Dunning of Belleville, Illinois, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She had been a Coal Miner, working mostly at Monterey Coal Company in Albers, Illinois and Carlinville, Illinois and was a proud member of United Mine Workers Local 2295.She enjoyed arts and crafts as well as an avid bingo player. She also loved going to yard sales, auctions and thrift stores. June was a very unique and colorful individual.
Per her wishes, rites of cremation have been accorded.
Inurnment will be Wednesday, October 13th, 2021 at 10:30 am at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois, followed by Inurnment at 11:30 am at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to the ASPCA or to a no-kill animal shelter of your choosing.
