Mrs. Engel was a retired seamstress with Meyers Pants Factory, member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Belleville, Illinois, A Mondays arts and craft volunteer at P.S.O. , Swansea Seniors.

Mrs. Engel was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Engel, who she married on November 20, 1945 and passed away on September 23, 1996; parents, Edward Engler and Josie, nee Travis, Engler Schnuberger; Step father, George Schnuberger and a brother, Norman Engler,

Mrs. Engel is survived by many cousins, relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 1:00 until service time at 3:00 pm from the Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Gerry Proctor officiating.

Interment will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois
