Kathy Jane Lorance

Kathy was born August 30, 1958 in East St. Louis, IL to Arlie Fabian and Wanda Jane (DeSpain) Lorance.

She leaves behind to honor her memory, her Cocker Spaniel, Jazzspur, Teena (Kenneth) Pulcher of Millstadt, IL; best friend, Beverly Schrum; several cousins, her aunt and many extended family members.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Karen Lorence; Uncle Wallace “Wally” Maier and step-father, Walter DeRossett.

Kathy was a devoted and active member of Faith Ministries Center in Caseyville, IL. She cherished her church family; they brought much joy and happiness to her life throughout the years.

Kathy loved God, dogs, cows, horses, and her Kia Soul. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, ASPCA, or a breast cancer foundation of the donor's choice.

A funeral service for Kathy will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M.- 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Final interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
