Linda Kay Karczewski

Linda is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 30 years, Robert "Bob" Karczewski, her father Victor Frye and mother Doris Hiller, her brother Ron Frye, and sister, Diane Enloe.

She is survived by two beloved sons, Michael Smith of La Plata, Missouri, and William Smith of Valley Falls, Kansas, and three grandchildren, Rachel (Lance) Pelc, Cassidy Smith, and Tyler Smith. Linda is also survived by one sister, Barbara Seabolt. She is survived by many cherished nieces and nephews; Randi Razer, Brett Razer, Trevor Razer, and Kenneth Damron; Amy, Steven, and Scott Frye; Travis (Carla) Bleything, Gavin Bleything, and Riley Bleything.

Linda, better known as Babu to everyone who knew her, was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Per Linda's wishes, Rites of Cremation will be accorded with placement of cremation taking place on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, at 11:00am at St. Adalbert's Cemetery located at 9621 Old Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Please meet directly at the cemetery at 11:00 am, if you plan on attending.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linda's name to the American Heart Association.
