Margaret was a very talented artist who painted murals in many local buildings including the First Baptist Church of Smithton. She was a bible enthusiast who loved reading and writing scriptures. Margaret was always a very active lady who loved cooking, gardening, and the Hallmark channel. Her family was very important to her and no one ever left her home without a goody bag made by her. She loved shopping (QVC made many deliveries!) and was dressed to the nines no matter where she went. Her family loved her roast beef dinners and the assorted candy and cookies she made every holiday season. Her kindness, beautiful smile, and love for her family will never be forgotten.
Friends may visit on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from noon until 2 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223.
