

Mrs. Foppe was a secretary for Atlas Enamel, St. Louis, Missouri and Miles Reporting Company. Marian was a longtime member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, Illinois. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Edna, nee Manchester, Moss and her husband, Herbert “Herb” Foppe.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Debbie Kriegshauser, Swansea, Illinois, Karen (Zack) Kersulis, Waterloo, Illinois, Ed (Laura) Foppe, Troy, Illinois, Jeanne (Jim) Amman, Belleville, Illinois, Jenny ( Dave) Koerber, Freeburg, Illinois, and Ken (Angie) Foppe, Belleville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Mark (Theresa) Daubs, Fort Worth, Texas, Carolyn Kriegshauser, Jonas Kersulis, Greg “Sam” Kersulis, Marta Kersulis, Peter Kersulis, Katelyn Foppe and Anna Foppe, Jerilyn Amann, Jonathan Amann, Jessica Amann, Jaclyn Amann, Abby Foppe and Peyton Foppe; her two great-grandchildren, Logan and Grady Daubs; and numerous friends and other relatives.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois and on Wednesday, February 1st, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, Illinois. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church. Interment in Green Mount Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois immediately following the services.
