Nathan was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose kindness, humor, and larger-than-life personality touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a heart as big as his smile and a laugh that could fill a room with joy. His presence brought comfort, happiness, and light to those around him, and his memory will continue to do so for years to come.
Nathan is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate, Kisha Raban; his cherished children, Aubrey and Little Nathan Raban; his mother, Marilyn; his father, Gerry; his siblings, Gerry (Lara) Raban Jr., Tina (Betram) Hicks, and Julia (Shawn) Sheridan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and coworkers who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Julia Raban, Raymond and Marie Procasky, and his brother, Charles “Chuck” Raban.
Nathan was a proud union laborer who took great pride in his work and valued the friendships he built throughout his career. He was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and willingness to help others whenever he could.
Outside of work, Nathan found joy in fishing, spending time outdoors, attending live concerts, and creating meals in the kitchen, often inventing recipes as he went. He loved discovering new restaurants, traveling, and making memories, especially visiting New Orleans, a city that held a special place in his heart. Together with his wife they shared a love of music, dancing in the kitchen together, spontaneous adventures, and, above all, making each other laugh.
Of all the roles he held in life, being a father was his greatest pride. Nathan could always be found in the stands cheering louder than anyone else at his children's sporting events, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and celebrating every accomplishment along the way. His love for his family was unwavering and evident in everything he did.
Nathan's million-dollar smile, infectious laughter, generous spirit, and boundless love will never be forgotten. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain a lasting testament to a life well lived.
A celebration of Nathan's life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced and shared with family and friends when available.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered. ❤️
