

Norma was born September 25, 1933 in Steeleville, IL to Louis and Lorena (Meyerhoff) Lohman. She was married to Paul Miller for 44 years. They later divorced and he preceded her in death in 2013.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Delores (Gale) Lohrding and Ralph (Lora) Lohman.
Norma is survived by her two sons, Craig Miller of Caseyville, IL and Bruce Miller of Fairview Heights, IL; and her siblings, Jeanette Ruback, Vernon Lohman, Kenneth (Darlene) Lohman, Harold Lohman, Ruth (Ernie) Koch, Betty (Ron) Gregory, Donnie Lohman, Larry Lohman and Jerry (Doris) Lohman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Norma worked for 31 years as an operator for Southwestern Bell and AT&T. After her retirement, she continued working for Demand and Response Transportation System (DARTS) for 10 years. Her work ethic was nothing short of admirable.
She was an active member of Blessed Savior Lutheran Church, where she was also a Sunday School teacher years ago. Norma was very involved with local food pantries and was always eager to help others with generous donations and her giving heart. Her generous spirit and kind smile will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation for Norma will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Final interment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum.
Memorial donations in Norma’s name may be made to the Fairview Heights Food Pantry or Blessed Savior Lutheran Church.
