Oscar was truly one of a kind. He was a devoted husband and father who always kept busy and was an incredibly hard worker. His hard work started at an early age on the mink farm. Oscar supported his family as a truck driver and proud member of Teamster Local 682. He worked several years for Bauer Brothers and then retired from Darling Trucking. Oscar was truly a Jack of all trades. He could fix everything from cars to tractors and was even a quilter and a baker! His pies were among the favorite of his family. He loved working outdoors in his vegetable garden and feeding the squirrels and the birds, particularly purple martins. Oscar was very skilled at building bird houses for the birds that gave him so much joy. He hunted, fished, loved Western movies, and watching NASCAR—he was a Jeff Gordon fan. His sense of humor and big heart will be missed by everyone who had to the honor to have known him.
