Patricia Anne Linton

Patricia “Patty” Anne Linton (nee Harvey), 73, of Collinsville, IL passed away at her residence on February 29, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt and Lenorah Harvey and a sister, Judith Pracker.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Linton; children, Sean (Rachel) Franklin, Stuart (Heather) Linton, and Tiffany (Blake Johnson) Linton; sister, Sandra (Raymond) Kups; mother-in-law, Marilyn Linton; and brothers-in-law, Curt (Connie) Linton and Craig (Laura) Linton, 4 grandchildren, Samantha Linton,Haley Franklin (Gabriel Garcia), Austin Franklin, Cutter Taylor. 3 great-grandchildren, Noah and Lucca Garcia, and Hayes Franklin. She also leaves behind 5 nieces and 3 nephews.

Born April 10, 1950 Cleveland, Ohio. A 1969 graduate of Mayfield High School, Mayfield, Ohio

Patty worked over 40 years in the automotive service industry. She made a room light up when she entered, with such a bubbly personality, she never met a stranger. Made friends everywhere she went, from patients, nurses, doctors, at Siteman Cancer Center to convenience and grocery store employees.

She truly loved people and wanted to socialize with all of them. Loved camping and spending time at the lake. Loved her Pomeranian’s, she had 6 of them since 1991. Boomer, Buffy, Bobo, Cookie, Echo, and Tucker, they were all her beloved babies. Loved the lotto scratchers, if she won more than a dollar, she was ecstatic. She really tried to keep life simple. In accordance with her wishes, Patty will be cremated and a service to honor her life will be held at a later date.
