The Class of 1953, Bowling Green, MO sends sympathy to the family of Phyllis.  A donation has been made in her memory to the Bowling Green High School Alumni Association by the Class of 1953.

We were very sorry to read of your loss.  Phyllis grew up very close to our family.  Our parents were friends.  The women had a club called Excelsior Club named for the one room school on the corner of her lane.  We are thinking of you and you have our sympathy. It was a shock to learn of Phyllis' death. I am glad that she and Tom came to TN and few years back to visit with us. Tom was the best man at my wedding 58 years ago on Jan 3. We enjoyed remembering the years gone by! I will be praying for Tom and  for the family.  Phyllis is in Heaven and whole again and some day we will see her.   Doc and Betty Adams  Old Hickory TN

We were shocked and saddened by the passing of Phyllis.  Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers during this difficult hour of grief.  "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."  Phyllis had a great personality and will be remembered for her homemade doughnuts.  The reunions will not be the same without her. I am in total shock & so sorry to hear about Phyllis.  God is gaining a beautiful angel.  She always welcomed my family into her home and treated us like family.  She was such a sweet, thoughtful, caring person.  I feel extremely blessed to have known her and for her to be in my life for the time she was.  Her family will be in my thoughts and prayers.  Rest in peace, Phyllis.  You will be greatly missed.

I was so sorry to hear about loosing a beautiful woman on the outside and the inside. She has always been there for her family, and went above and beyond for distant family. for that I am grateful for knowing and being in her family. Rest In peace Phylis.
