

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester E. and Jeanette (Dougherty) Bovee and his wife, Stephanie Bovee.
Raymond is survived by his children, Scott R. (Meredith) Bovee, Sr., of Valles Mines, Missouri, Jeffrey D.(Nicole) Bovee of Barnhart, Missouri, and Melissa (Jeff Hawkins) Bovee of Belleville, Illinois, step-daughter, Anne (Gary) Mordis and former wife, Linda Steller (Bovee), Imperial, Missouri. He is further survived by his sister Mary (Gary) Hoffman, brother, William (Christine) Bovee, brother, Dennis (Janet) Powers. Also further survived by grandchildren; Justin, Brandon, Scott Jr., Ryan, Kristina, Damian, Tyler, Marky, Karley and Tiana. Also great grandchildren Samuel and Khloe. Also loved nieces, nephews and friends.
Raymond served his country valiantly in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. During his lifetime he enjoyed He loved racing cars and working on them. He loved playing cards with family and friends. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with his friends. He really enjoyed food at family gatherings. He never missed a beat. He was a great father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed. You will always be with us in our hearts. We love you always ❤️. Thank you for being you.
Graveside Military Honors will be at 2:30pm, August 1st 2023 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, Missouri, 63125.
