Richard Oren Cannady, 88, of Swansea, IL passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oren and Mary Cannady and his wife, Marilyn Cannady.
Surviving is his three children, Richard Darryl (Debbie) Cannady, Sharon Muren, Diane Cannady, and one grandson, Joseph Muren.
Richard was a teacher at Collinsville High School for over 30 years. He taught mathematics, drafting, and vocational trades. He was a loving and caring father and husband. He was a Christian man who loved celebrating life with family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on March 9, 2024 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Damascus Road Fellowship Church, 1485 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL with meal to follow. All are welcome to gather in remembrance of him.
