Rich and I had many of adventures when we were in high school. He and Roger once saved me from being attacked from two hoodlums whom had me at knife point. Rich and I had many parties in the woods past the Lebanon Ave. bridge. We were wild, young and relentless. I’m glad he made it to the age he made it to. Good memories. 🙏

Poor Richard. I am so sorry that his family didn't love him enough to give him a nicer obituary. He was a helpful person and a very nice neighbor back when we lived in Belleville. He may not have always made the best choices, but who does.

Dear Rich,

You were worth more than a one sentence obit, my friend.  I am guessing your mother was in charge of the arrangements.

Rich will be missed.  Though I always felt sorry for him and his brothers being abandoned as teens, he was a kind spirit who struggled all his life.  He leaves behind two wonderful children and grandchildren, a brother Ricky.  May he find the peace in heaven that he never had here on earth.

Dad had his demons but he helped everyone he could and needs a better picture than that. So here is one of him and my sister with her husband and daughter.

I am so sorry for your loss😪, Richie was always friendly to me & my Amy, he always had kind words & made us feel comfortable when we were around him, he was always joking. & loved to party when there was a party going on. He will be sadly missed by all that knew & loved him that's for sure 💔. You all have Amy's. & my deepest sympathies. & prayers 🙏
