

Ron was born August 17, 1934 in Belleville, IL to W. Richard and Viola (Kaemmerer) Lowe. He married his dear Bernice Vogel in 1956. They shared 70 wonderful years together. She survives and resides in Millstadt, IL.
Also surviving are their children, Denise (Shawn) Clayton, Donna (Mike) Findlay and Douglas (Geri) Lowe; grandchildren: Travis Clayton, Jackie (Jake) McElhoe, Kyle (Nicole) Sauerwein , Sarah Lowe, Austin Clayton, Jaymee (Miles) Froese, Brett (Kaleigh) Sauerwein and Jake (Katelyn) Lowe ; great-grandchildren: Raina Froese, Maya McElhoe, Claire Clayton, Sophia Sauerwein, Tayla McElhoe, Ender Froese, Koah McElhoe, Zoe Sauerwein and Oliver Froese; sister-in-law, Jeanette Lowe; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Dorothy (Raymond) Lowe, Kenneth (Mack) Lowe, Richard (Arlou) Lowe and Robert Lowe.
Ron passed away leaving behind a lifetime of hard work, kindness, and deep love for his family. He dedicated his entire career to Weyerhaeuser, where he worked his way up to become a respected production superintendent before his retirement. Ron took great pride in his work and the many friendships he built over the years.
Outside of work, Ron truly loved his time spent fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling with Bernice, whenever they had the chance. Whether it was a quiet morning by the water, time spent in the woods, or a weekend camping trip with his family, Ron appreciated the simple beauty of nature.
Above all else, Ron cherished his family. The moments he spent with them—sharing stories, laughter, and creating memories—meant the world to him. He was a devoted family man whose love, guidance, and steady presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Ron will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 10:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holton Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
A funeral service will be held following the visitation, at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Final interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
