Sherry was born July 25, 1950 in Illinois to William Leroy and Gertrude A. (Little) Onstott. They preceded her in death, along with her sister, Candy.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Samuel “Sam” Lockwood of Cahokia Heights, IL; her two songs, Jason and Sean Lockwood and two grandchildren, Tara and Matthew.
Years ago, Sherry worked as a custodian for MidCoast Aviation.
She and Sam spent every morning playing Rummy and enjoying their time together. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 10:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Parkway W., Belleville, IL. Final interment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL at a later date.
