Teresa was born October 31, 1966, in St. Louis, MO to Frank and Hildegard (Eidel) Seavey. They preceded her in death.
Teresa is survived by her wife, LaShonda A. Butcher of East Carondelet, IL; sons, Tyler (Kari) Smith and Justin (Ashleigh) Smith; and granddaughter, Riley; siblings, Gwen Street, Gary Seavey and Gerald Seavey.
For 32 years, Teresa faithfully served as a first-grade gifted education teacher with the Fox C-6 School District, where she inspired young minds with patience, kindness, and an unwavering belief in every child’s potential. She delighted in caring for her chickens and could often be found sewing thoughtful handmade creations. Together, she and LaShonda owned Sugarloaf Farms, where they crafted soaps and other handmade goods and shared their work at local craft fairs.
