Torrey Alan Waterson

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Waterson, sisters; Melissa Waterson and Stacy Waterson.

Torrey is survived by his mother, Patricia (Kingston) Waterson, siblings; Scott Waterson (Debbie) of Belleville, Illinois, Rob (Nikki) Waterson of Terrell, Texas, and Todd (Cindy) Waterson of Belleville, Illinois. He is further survived by nephews and nieces; Justin (Andi) Waterson of Mabank, Texas, Amber (Jay) Climaco of Belleville, Illinois, Robbie Waterson of Terrell, Texas, Caycee Waterson of Belleville, Illinois, Anna Callier (Justinn) of Desdemona, Texas, Austen Waterson of Belleville, Illinois, and several great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts and cousins.

Torrey attended both Freeburg Grade School and was a graduate of Freeburg High School. He attended Western Colorado University, obtaining his Master's Degree in Science.

Torrey's heart found solace in climbing the mountains of Colorado, exploring the ocean's depths during his scuba diving adventures, navigating the rugged back roads of Illinois on his dirt bike, and setting sail on the open sea where he sailed his beloved boat. He also loved astrology and often found comfort and wonder in the stars. Torrey's life was a testament to his love for adventure and his love for his family.

A visitation and funeral will be held, times are pending.

Memorials may be made in Torrey's name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
