Vincent Todd Mosley

Vincent was born July 12, 1962 in Chanute Air Force Base, IL to Benedict and Beverly (Hickman) Mosley.

He is survived by his father, Benedict Mosley of Richmond, CA and mother, Beverly Moy of Belleville, IL; his siblings, Tony Childress of Flanagan, IL, Benedict (Florence) Mosley of San Antonio, TX, Cheryl Mosley of Belleville, IL, Valerie Moy of Houston, TX, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Mitchell of Belleville, IL, Tammie Moy Dowell of Cahokia, IL; his former wife, Robin Scott; and a special friend, Ann Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rupert and Dorothy Hickman and paternal grandparents, Benedict Sr. and Mamie Mosley; and stepfather, Thomas L. Moy.

Vincent was a 1980 graduate of Cahokia Senior High School, where he ran both track and cross country. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Controller. He devoted his life to caring for his patients, as a traveling nurse throughout the country. He loved vegetable and flower gardening, visiting wineries, and cooking delicious meals for all to share. His beautiful spirit and love for others will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service for Vincent will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

A visitation will be held prior to the funeral, from 9:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Final interment will be held at College Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, IL.

Memorial donations in Vincent’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
