Virginia”Jean” Scharf was one of my mom’s ( Ione Hines) best friends. They worked together for many years at the Department of Public Aid for the State of Illinois. In fact, Mom hired Jean way back In the day. ANd she was forever grateful. They were a great working team.

They always stayed in touch and Jean was so nice to always send Mom cards and notes to keep her up on all the going’s on of the Scharf Family. Jean loved her big family and all her brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews.

She was a very special lady. Here is s pic of her and Mom at one of there Work reunions just a few years ago. ❤️❤️❤️

Friends to the end! Condolences to the Scharf family.
