Walter is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Susan Kujawa; brothers, Bobby Joe Kujawa and Brian Kujawa; and sister, Denise Beckmann. Walt is survived by his husband, Joseph Walsh; siblings, Charlotte Reeves, Tracy (Bobbie) Nicholas, and Stacy (Julie) Kujawa; sisters-in-law, Mary Anderson, Diane (Chris) Russhon, and Patti (Jon) Vermieren; many many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a great great nephew and niece; special pet, Junior; and numerous friends.
Walt retired from General Motors and was a proud Union representative. He loved supporting St. Louis sports teams and was a passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. He also enjoyed his beautiful flower garden. Walt was a very kind and thoughtful man who loved spending time and having fun with his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy West, Belleville, IL 62223, US, on May 14, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a funeral service on from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Cremation will be accorded after services.
