William F Kirby

He was a lifetime member of the Belleville Khoury League, member of UAW Local 25. William worked for General Motors, and retired as a skilled tradesman after 30 years. He was a lifelong St Louis Cardinals fan.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Edna, nee Yarborough, Kirby; brothers, Sterlin Kirby, James Kirby, Aubrey Daugherty; and granddaughter, Amber Kirby.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nellean Kirby, nee Lane, of Belleville, IL; son, William Michael (Becky) Kirby of Jackson, MO; daughters, Barbara (Terry) Shute of Fairview Heights, IL, Judy (Dennis) Latinette of Belleville, IL; grandchildren, Angela (Daniel) Nesbit, Scott Latinette, Heather (Nathan) Kluesner, Jason Kirby; great grandchildren, Noah & Leo Nesbit, Riley Kluesner; step-grandchildren, Amy (Roy) Youngs, Doug Shute; step-great granddaughters, Brielle and Jules Johnston; sister, Shirley Collier of Bowling Green, KY.

Memorials in William’s name may be to the USO or Alzheimer’s Association.

Funeral: Services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 10:30am at the funeral home.

Interment will be held in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL
