很遺憾幾年前擺了烏龍記錯日子錯過了見面的機會，沒想到這一錯過就是永遠😭

loved our friendship since elementary school and still be able to catchup after 40+ years.  so much laughter remembering old time.  I'll miss you.

So sad to lose sweet Aileen. She was my fitness inspiration and was such a blessing in my life. Rest in peace sweet friend. 

Aileen's gentle and kind soul touched many; the heartache of losing her is unbearable. It pains me to realize that I will never travel, hike, and laugh with my dearest friend again.

Aileen was always a ray of sunshine, and her positive energy and love for nature pressed both of us to discover many forests, rivers, and mountain peaks.  From Mailbox Peak in North Bend, to Camp Muir at Mt Rainier, to Mount Dana in Yosemite, to waterfalls in Yellowstone and The Grand Teton; her hiking list goes on and on. I feel extremely blessed to share many wonderful adventures and memories with Aileen.  “To Live Is To Be Active” was one of her favorite lines; she definitely lived that motto to the fullest.  Aileen left her footprints in many glorious spots across the globe, but all the pleasing sceneries combined still pale in comparison to her beautiful soul.  

Until we see each other again, Aileen, the precious memories and the bond we shared will always be a part of me.  On my mind and in my heart, you shall always be.

I’m heartbroken to hear that one of my favorite coworkers and friends from the “Boeing years” is gone.  I first met Aileen in the late '80s where we were working different projects within our organization.  I left Boeing and when I returned in ’96 to the Lab Operations organization, to my delight there was Aileen.  We were still working in different areas, but the areas were more closely aligned.
I moved to P-8 in 2004 and Aileen joined the group some months later.  Finally, we got to work together!  It was our great privilege to design and develop the Acoustics simulation.  It was our “baby” and I loved doing it with Aileen.  I left the Acoustics simulation in Aileen’s most capable hands in 2008.  I was honored to return from retirement in 2019 and work once more with Aileen on changes to the Acoustics simulation.  What a treat to work closely with her again!  It brought back all the wonderful memories of the development days and we added new ones to those memories.  I will cherish those memories even more now.
I always loved catching up with you - what your family was up to, your latest exploits in the world of exercise/hiking/races, your gardening, and your travels.  I’m so sorry you had to leave us way too soon.  You lived every moment of your life to the fullest and I will miss you, my friend.

Aileen - it was a pleasure working with you off and on for so many years. And I still remember the surprise of randomly bumping into you on the top of Mailbox. Gone too soon, with many more peaks waiting to be climbed. 

I first worked with Aileen in the mid-1980s on an Air Force-sponsored research project. As the project lead, I waved my hands in broad gestures and Aileen somehow turned that into working code (the project got an award and a contract extension thanks to Aileen’s work). In the decades since then, I had the pleasure of working with Aileen on a variety of other projects including, indirectly, her final project on the P8 aircraft. On each one, she revealed a new and unique capability that demonstrated her immense and growing talent as a software developer. Her absence leaves a hole that cannot be filled.

I belonged to the same exercise group as Aileen many years ago when I worked on the AWACS program in Kent.  From my perspective she was queen of fitness; the one who set the fitness standard to which I hoped to someday achieve.  Rest in peace Aileen and may your family be comforted by the support of friends, family and memories of you.

2008 Triathlon event so much fun and Aileen will truly be missed. 

This was a Triathlon event in 2008 We had the best of times working out together. Aileen was always the strongest example of a women/person who worked hard at what ever she did.

Hey Aileen, my daughter moved to Arkansas, I miss my grandson.
Hey Aileen, I started running again.
Hey Aileen, we signed up for a Rick Steves' tour.

Hey Aileen, I just lost my good friend, need to talk to you.

So many of the pictures show how athletic Aileen was.  This was escape from the rock and of the two teams Aileen and I were the runners.  Our swimmer was faster and after bike I started running.  The bike for her team was nowhere in sight but by time I finished she was close behind making up several minutes.  I really thought she would live forever.  Really miss you Aileen

So glad you came to Kimmy’s wedding in July and we got to spend some time together catching up with each other.  Can’t believe that was the last time we had together.  Thank you for being my dear friend for over 40 years.  You are loved 🥰
