Albert Spokoiny, born on February 27, 1934, in Tianjin, China, passed away on June 21, 2024, living most recently in Redmond, WA. Albert had an enthusiasm for life and was known for his love of traveling, his story telling, and his pride in his own accomplishments. However, above all, his family meant the world to him.
Albert was the devoted husband of Pauline (Metzker) Spokoiny, with whom he shared almost 70 years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and cherished memories. Albert was a proud father to Sandy Flores and Susan Townsend (Matthew), and a doting grandfather to Micheal Flores (Ali), Sarah Flores, Stacey Horowitz (Ari), Kevin Townsend (Meghan), and Lauren Townsend. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Finn Flores, Hudson Horowitz, and Cora Townsend.
Albert's greatest accomplishment was the motivation he provided while working in direct sales, and to all he came across. Albert inspired others to live their lives without regrets, always reminding them to embrace the present and let go of "would have, could have, should have." Throughout his life, Albert was vivacious, loving, and generous. He impacted the lives of those around him, encouraging them to seize every opportunity and to live life to the fullest. Albert's favorite motto, "I did it my way," exemplified his independence and determination.
Albert Spokoiny will be deeply missed, but his legacy of unconditional love and zest for life will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
