Andres Aquino Jr. commonly known as JR, passed away after a courageous one year two month long battle with colon cancer on September 18, 2020 at the age of 65. He was surrounded by his wife, children, and close family, at his long-time residence in Redmond Washington.

Andres was born on November 19, 1954 in Paco, Manila Philippines to Andres Aquino Sr. and Asuncion Aquino. He lived in Guam for a short time before immigrating to Washington. He started as a posting clerk at Transamerica and was later promoted to production manager at C.W. Title. He was a 42-year employee before his passing.

JR enjoyed singing, performing occasionally, and sang with a band. Most of the time, having long karaoke sessions with friends and family. He was often complimented for his singing ability. The life of the party, always making sure everyone was having a good time. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and various outdoor activities. Cycling became one of his most recent hobbies and even built himself a custom bicycle. Regularly, especially during the summer period, he would travel an average of 20 miles a day. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all those who knew him. Memories of him will live on forever.

Andres is survived by his wife Margie Aquino, his children Divine Sindayen, Jesse Aquino, Jeremy Aquino, and Nicole Aquino. Grandchildren Derek Tupaz, Jordan Sindayen, and Brooklyn Sindayen. Nieces and nephews Jennnifer Tonog, Jessica Tonog, Jerome Tonog M.D. and Leila Aquino. He was preceded in death by his brother Danilo Aquino and his sister Myrna Aquino Sarpola.
