Sandee ,                             We are so glad we got to see you last year. I have wonderful memories of Aunt Bernice and Aunt MaryLou coming to Minnesota.

It has been a Journey...I am so grateful for having My Mother for as long as her LONG life allowed her to be WITH all of US!  It is with Much HONOR and THANKS to each of my sibling-- along with Karen (Moms caregiver), that we were able to step up to the Challenge to Keep Mom Home, where she wanted to be.  
In the days to come, we will ALL find the PEACE within us, which WAS taught to us, by our dearest Mother!!!  RIP Mom.

I am sorry to hear Bernice passed away.  My memories are of a caring and kind person.

Tony and I are so glad we were able to come to Washington State and to be able to see Bernice last year.  Tony is so glad she knew him and sat next to him, holding onto his hand the entire visit.  We are so glad she had a good day on our visit with her at Aunt Mary Lou's.  When we came out 20 years earlier, we went up to her beloved home and she was so proud to show us around and host an afternoon with snacks and cookies, etc.
Sandee:  Blessings to you for the long-term care you and your brother and sisters provided her, so she could stay in her home until the end.  I know that meant the world to her.  You are in our thoughts and prayers as you mourn your loss. 
May the healing touch of time and the caring love of family and friends, comfort you now and gently but surely transform your present sorrow into loving remembrances.

Mom, you were the best mom a kid could ever have had...I specifically remember the time I was in 7th grade and having trouble in math...you were busy doing dishes ... you wiped you hands and sat down with me to try to figure it out...you were always there for us!...you took the time to listen and try to help us with our problems ...even as adults...Thank-you

Condolences to the family during this time of transition.  I met Bernice as our neighbor, when we moved to NE 20th.  We had no water at our place & went over to Bernice's hauling water home, until we had our own well. She was always kind & caring. She was a GREAT neighbor.

I just never know what to say when someone who has so much history and uniqueness passes. I'll remember her fondly. From the pig farm to the chalet, chopping her own wood and feeding her squirrels, and the closeness of her family. Rest in peace "sandee's mom". You will be missed!

Thanks for being such a wonderful loving Mom.  You raised 4 kids all by yourself.  You are now resting peacefully next to Daddy.
