I am incredibly sorry to hear about Bob passing away.  While at TMO, I so enjoyed working with Bob for he was always a leader that had great integrity, intellectual curiosity and tremendous passion for what he believed in.  He was always a leader that could be depended upon and an inspiration for us all.  I remember having dinner with the two of you and so admired the adoration and love that you had for each other. A bond like that will always live on in your heart.

I had the privilege of working with Bob at T-Mobile closely on several projects and leadership teams. Bob was a terrific inspiration – his deeply service-oriented attitude, personal courage, and sincere, frank leadership motivated everyone around him to do better every day. I'm just really glad that the last interaction I had with Bob was a hug of support vs. sitting in a meeting talking about problem resolution. I made a point of not having to engage Bob unless its was truly necessary - but he NEVER failed to support a need for my team and the business. It was with great sadness that I learned of Bob's passing; please accept my heartfelt condolences.  Bob loved to get things done the right way at T-Mobile and thrived on seeing his team grow and develop.  Bob always had a steady word when things got a little tough but could also be counted on for a well-timed pun here and there to keep the mood light. Clint,  Jerry, & Diana. He is a memory not only in passing but in reality.   Met Bob in 1981 when he was at Texas A&M.  Had the privilege to give him the tour of Bryan/College Station.  He will be missed though its been years since I've seen him.  We met again 30 years later and found that he never changed.  He was still the workaholic I've always known him to be.  You guys are blessed to have had him all these years.  I heard so many good things about you guys from Bob.  He talked and bragged about you all.  I enjoyed hearing about his successes. I can't even begin to express how shocked Lisa and I were to hear of Bob's passing.  He was first, a good man and husband and also a great peer and supervisor to me. It was an honor to have known such a great person and I will truly miss his gentle nature and calming force. Bob's relentless pursuit of leadership and tireless commitment to T-Mobile and his team was something I was l fortunate enough to be a part of. Words cannot express how saddened I was to hear of your loss. My deepest condolences go out to you for the loss of such a wonderful husband, son, brother, boss, and friend. I had the privilege of meeting Bob when he joined our T-Mobile family and I supported him from 2007 to 2010. Bob was a great mentor; always keeping me challenged, and had such a great and inspirational impact on my life as well as all of those he led. Even after he moved to Seattle, he always kept in touch and reached out to me to see how I was. 

His sharp wit was unmatched and the rare times I got to see him in a comic “act” with someone who could "play" against him, I just had to put my head down on the table because I was laughing uncontrollably. I always thought when I retired, my goodbye letter to T-Mobile would include a request to Bob for the parting gift of telling me what movie he was in. :) 

I love seeing these photos you have posted here; they are a great testament to a wonderful life and man.

But my best memory of Bob is his kind and giving spirit!  He pulled up to my desk in December asking if I'd like to help sell a few thousand holiday T-shirts for charity.  He felt we could push a little harder as an organziation for those kids and families in need at Boys & Girls Club and Hopelink!  He was busy but still made the time to find ways to give back.

He was an important person in my life and career, and I wanted him to meet my family . We laughed a ton at dinner, mostly because Bob was able to share some things about his life, our work at TMO, shared the things he loved to do with his family, talked about his pets, all of which my three children and husband just loved! My most sincere sympathies.  Bob will always hold a special place in my heart and will be missed.
